Aqualyx is a fat dissolving treatment that targets fat pockets that just wont budge with diet or exercise.
Aqualyx reduces stubborn fat deposits in areas such as the double chin, love handles, and inner thighs to name but a few.
This compound solution is injected into the chosen problem areas.
Aqualyx attaches to the fatty deposits and breaks them down over time. The fat is then naturally dissolved and excreted by the lymphatic system - this is a minimally invasive treatment.
It is recommended that 2-5 sessions should be carried out over 2-5 months for best results. Clients must be realistic in regard to the achievable results - we cannot make you skinny but we can target the stubborn areas.
Even though Aqualyx is a treatment to target fat it IS NOT generally recommended for clients who would fall in to the clinically overweight category - why... because this treatment targets small stubborn areas as opposed to being a weight loss aid.
Aqualyx is available to clients between the ages of 18-60.
Aqualyx is NOT SUITABLE for clients who suffer from lipodystrophy or any other pathological condition (e.g. cardiovascular/digestive system/endocrine system diseases).
CLIENTS WITH DIABETES OR AUTOIMMUNE CONDITIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR AQUALYX TREATMENTS.
Prior to treatment clients are advised to avoid alcohol for 24-48 hours and for 24-48 hours post treatment.
Post treatment clients MUST be ready for the swelling. Aqualyx will ALWAYS swell the treated area before the reduction takes place. Occasionally the swell will only last a few days but in some cases the swell can last as long as 4 weeks (give or take).
The treatment as a whole is pretty painless. There may be some stinging with the first couple of injections but it eases as we progress.
Once we are finished the treatment you may feel the area burning slightly but a cold compress will ease that any time you find it irritating (the obligatory frozen bag of peas wrapped in a cloth and placed on and off the area as and when required will work wonders).
We recommend you avoid unnecessary use of anti inflammatory medications however we DO NOT want you neglecting any prescribed medications you are on as these are prescribed to you for a reason.
MOST OF ALL PLEASE REMEMBER A REALISTIC OUTLOOK OF ACHIEVABLE RESULTS IS IMPERATIVE
