AEIDA Hair growth & repair

The owner and creators story of how AEIDA came to be.

I was one of these girls who couldn't stop changing my hair colour (sometimes weekly), having multiple methods of extensions put in and taken out regularly, french-combing daily for height and volume and always returning to a 40% bleach for over the recommended time to achieve platinum blonde (not to mention a full head application every time - not just the root regrowth).  I damaged my hair beyond (or what I thought was beyond) repair.

My hair was so badly damaged that every time I brushed or even ran my fingers through my hair I would have to whip out a lint roller to strip the obscene amount of broken hair off my clothes - it was actually embarrassing.

Hairdressers actually refused to touch my hair and I was really starting to get scared that if I couldn't find something to help my hair I was going to have to go for the REALLY short cut - which I just do not suit - plus lets face it... There's nothing more feminine than a gorgeous head of long, thick and shiny hair.

I don't have the best of health either.  I have absorbency issues, ME, Fibromyalgia and much more - I also had previous ovarian and fallopian cancer which resulted in a 50% hysterectomy (my hormones are crazier than a bag of frogs).  

I wont name the brands but lets just say I spent an absolute fortune on high-street available and even more on high-end products.  There were a couple of products that I noticed the smallest of differences in things like the softness of my hair but I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend any of them for solving issues like mine.  

I decided to start looking into different elements of these products and what they claim to do; where the evidence was to support each element in the claim that it done a specific job etc; natural elements that have foundations or theory supporting their claim to promote different areas of requirements for hair growth and repair and of course how I could create a product that would actually work and provide results that would speak for themselves.  I started off casually reading bits and pieces and the more I read the more intent I got on actually playing with formulas and seeing what worked best and what results were achieved with what; how long it took to see results and what the results were.  

Creating AEIDA wasn't a quick process - it was exceptionally lengthy perfecting the final formula and then even more lengthy ensuring I could brand and provide it to the public.  I learned so much that I would never have thought on prior to developing AEIDA.   

Very long story short, I believe from my personal hair growth and repair journey and  customer/client feedback that my product is genuinely an innovation in hair products that have results from the first use.  

In roughly 3.5 months or an AEIDA treatment routine my hair had went from the lower left picture to the lower right AND I had even had a trim in the lower right picture.  

Personally speaking, I can hand on heart tell you that my hair has NEVER been in as good condition, grown so much (& in such a short time frame, been as strong and shiny (with no unwanted deposits/build-ups), felt as silky, been as nourished AND (wait for this)... My need to straighten has been reduced AND blow-drying time is much quicker too! 

In the 3.5 months I mentioned previously I had in the region of 4 inches of hair growth - both in length AND thickness!  Hairdressers who had refused to touch my hair AND who used high end products genuinely couldn't believe the results.  

Once AEIDA was clarified as being safe to use (which I knew it was anyway) and was compliant/legally my own brand I was able  start the marketing process. 

Where am I now?

I have my own advanced aesthetics and hair growth and repair clinic/salon/shop which is THE place to be in Paisley.  

You will never be let down by how clean and tidy we are (not to mention sterile and compliant in our aesthetics area); you will ALWAYS be treated well and you will feel like a valued customer.  

You will find cheaper but you wont find better - I live and breathe my business/products/clients AND you have the knowledge that EVERYTHING (including AEIDA) has been trialed on myself before its even considered being rolled out to clients - this applies to every single treatment offered by Revamp Aesthetic.  

Where did the name AEIDA come from?

AEIDA (pronounced Ada) was my grans name.  My gran nurtured me, was my strength, protection, helped me grow, always made things better and was just that special part of me - what better name for a product that strengthens, protects, promotes growth etc?

The first picture is from just getting out my bed.  I have extensions in that are tied in a bun but you can clearly see how horrendous my own hair was in this picture (and trust me, the crown area was in even worse condition).

The second picture was as good as my own hair got PRE-AEIDA. That was the longest it would grow and I'd have to styly it to cover or merge all the inch-3 inch broken hair.
